What we collect
When you register your interest, we collect only the information needed to make first contact: your name, email address, country, organisation (if applicable), professional background, the ways you'd like to be involved, your availability, and any message you choose to send. We never ask for sensitive personal information, and we never ask visitors for information about learners.
Why we collect it
We use your information solely to respond to your expression of interest and to explore how you might take part in Teachers for Peace — as a volunteer, mentor, sponsor, partner or friend. We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for unrelated marketing.
How it is stored and protected
Your registration is stored in a secure database with access restricted to authorised Teachers for Peace administrators. Submissions are never displayed publicly. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we hold, and we review access periodically.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information you have shared, or to withdraw your consent to be contacted. To do so, contact us through TECHERSFORPEACEGLOBAL@GMAIL.COM. We will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to follow up with you and manage our relationship with you, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
A note on GDPR
We have designed this notice and our registration form with GDPR principles in mind — minimal data collection, clear consent, restricted access and respect for your rights. We do not claim formal GDPR compliance certification; that requires legal and technical review, which is part of our organisational development plans.
