Teachers for Peace is a woman-founded international education initiative bringing together educators and learners across borders. Through our chapters in Ukraine, Afghanistan and Syria, we provide free online learning opportunities and supportive educational communities.
Our vision is to develop a sustainable global education organisation focused on trauma-informed learning, inclusion, global citizenship, youth leadership and education for the future.
Four Years of Learning, Connection and Community
Since March 2022, Teachers for Peace has grown from a response to the war in Ukraine into an international community of educators and learners.
Together, we have delivered more than 4,000 free online lessons, with contributions from 70+ volunteer educators and educational opportunities reaching 700+ learners.
Our work now includes chapters in Ukraine, Afghanistan and Syria, bringing people together through education, connection and shared opportunities to learn.
We are continuing to develop our programmes, strengthen our team and build a sustainable future for Teachers for Peace.

Teachers for Peace currently operates through fiscal hosting with Open Collective Europe. Financial sponsorship discussions are subject to appropriate agreements, budget confirmation and fiscal-hosting requirements.
Our current fundraising goal is €60,000 for January–June 2027 — a preliminary planning estimate, not yet secured.
